He's currently not the President. He can't pardon people.
They would have needed to be formally accused or convicted of a crime for that, and there wasn't enough time for that to happen between J6 and relinquishing the position.
Considering that they still haven't had their day in court and that their right to a speedy trial has clearly not been respected, anyone not in favor of pardoning them now would be a hopeless leftist cultist.
Ignore him, he is a troll
Go back four years to the political climate and tell me how that would have gone. At the time, it did seem like some people had committed crimes, so a mass pardon would have likely been unwise and would have seemed entirely partisan. Not to mention that it would have played even more into leftist hands, who would have spun that to oblivion with their mediatic domination over propaganda.
For the masses to fully realize that they were fed lies mostly took until Tucker unveiled hundreds of hours of video footage on national media, even if it was very clear after less than a day to anyone who doesn't rely on "mainstream" media to get information. Before Trump left office, it was quite reasonable to assume that anyone arrested would be able to defend themselves in court, once they were faced with accusations, and that the video feeds from the dozens of cameras that are everywhere in the capital building, which would have been lawfully demanded by the defence in the pre-trial phase, would have been more than enough to indemnify nearly everyone who wasn't an FBI plant that was present on the day. Clearly, in hindsight, that assumption was false. But the fact that hundreds of people have been politically persecuted by being forced to languish in jail when they have committed no crime and not been accused of anything has not gone unnoticed. Many people will never forget this abhorrent travesty of justice, which has permanently soured them with the democrat establishment. That is something that would not have happened with a hasty pardon, but that will be set in stone once Trump is back and he makes a show of releasing them all from their unjust confinement.
