To be fair. ChatGPT isn't really AI or even smart AI anyway.
it's what the investors and regulators think AI is, and that's what matters in this context.
At this stage, all it's turning out to be is a weapon of mass manipulation.
It's good at making up the next word in the sentence, or the next sentence in the paragraph.
The important phrase there is "making up". Just because it does that well does not mean that it necessarily bears upon reality at all.
