... when you're a public figure who probably has shittons of pictures taken with shittons of people.
I'm going to go ahead and predict that they'll go past flogging the dead horse with this. They'll be pounding the ground long after there's nothing left of the horse. Every time Trump dares to try to defend himself publicly (but not in the courtroom, of course, that's not allowed) they'll go after him again for more and more. They didn't stop at $5 million, so why stop at $83 million? Surely we should be talking at least Alex Jones level sums. Or maybe the GDP of some small country.
Trump is the biggest thing standing between the deep state and us. They will not stop even if Trump is liable for trillions of dollars and several lifetime prison sentences. They also won't stop when he's dead; they will go after his family and after every history book that dares paint him in a positive light.
They've run so many victory laps in the past six years (most notably impeachments and a rigged election), and it must drive them insane that they're still fighting him.
"He said a thing that might not have happened. Unlike my client here who definitely hasn't done that."
Said EJC's lawyer, who then began laughing behind her hand like Jimmy Kimmel in an SNL sketch where he can't hold it together for 2 minutes without corpsing.
Why is life worse than parody since 2015? I would like very much to course correct and go back to a point where reality felt more normalized, instead of being pushed into fucked up land so much just to hate on one person.
"He lied again on the stand. He again said 'I standby everything I said in my deposition which was I did nothing to E. Jean Carroll, never met her, she's a whack job, never heard of her,'" [Carroll's attorney Roberta Kaplan] said. "So he not only committed perjury, but the jury themselves saw him commit perjury."
She added: "And then they watched his deposition video, where he pointed out, as everyone knows, that famous photo of him, Ivana [Trump], and E. Jean and her then-husband, and he points to E. Jean and he says, 'That's Marla Maples.' And then, my favorite part of it is once he realizes he made a mistake, he says, 'Oh, it's a blurry photo.' And I said to the jury, 'you saw the photo...it's not a blurry photo.'"
It is not clear from the CNN comments by Kaplan whether or not she intends to pursue perjury charges against the former president.
There, that's the only "news" here, so nobody else needs to bother reading the piece of shit article.
All this corruption reminds me of the time when Trump pardoned Gen. Flynn. The judge who was trying to get Flynn thrown in the gulag, name was Sullivan I think, was so pissed that he couldn't keep his writing pen from scribbling and his lips from flapping over how he thought the whole thing was a travesty of justice. That guy was a totally corrupt shill.
You'll meet tons of people in business and have photos taken. I'm not even famous and I've done that and i can't remember everyone let alone from decades ago
It's truly unbelievable how Trump is able to power through all this. It's disgusting what they're doing to him.
Seriously. He weathers this onslaught and just keeps being himself. These experiences would've broken 99,999 out of 100,000 people.

Roberta Kaplan was also the main lawyer going after the Unite the Right Organizers.
