he was really the first mainstream person to stand up against what we now call the Woke.

To nitpick a little, standing up against C-16 and coerced speech MADE Peterson mainstream.

Before that, he was just a mopey Toronto professor crying on Canadian government television.

It was the REEEing from dangerhairs that got him on Joe Rogan and got the ball rolling.
