Religion is an easy target because you are dealing with vulnerable, easily manipulated people who are usually desperate for guidance.

This is probably a genuine opinion.
Not the reporter but, if this kid can constantly get away with annoying the forum without breaking any rules, but TheImpossible1 gets banned repeatedly for saying "our worse halves", then the rules are wrong.
Priests are not an identity group. Christians are. Imp knows exactly where the line is because I've laterally spelled it out for him. He choses not to follow it. It is what it is.
I'd be willing to accept that this could be an identity attack if OP had attacked Christians.
