Or, you could do a faithful adaptation of the first appearance of the Silver Surfer and Galactus.
Do you trust Marvel to pull that off?
I'm not really familiar with the material so I've actually no idea if they could do it.
Part of the problem is with so many retcons in the comics some of those characters are depicted as anti-heroes rather than villains, similar to the attempt to retcon Thanos into one in Eternals by claiming, if indirectly, that his actions w were to stop civilisations going extinct when a Celestial is born and emerges from a planet, destroying it.
Galactus has been written in a very similar way before where the reason for him consuming worlds was to stop something inside of them hatching. Basically a galaxy wide pest controller.
I don’t trust marvel to do anything now as long as they are obsessed with diversity and crapping on male fans
I actually recently landed myself a mail order subscription to the current run of Dare Devil(basically got door-to-door solicited and respected the guy's hustle enough to give him a sale) and it hasn't really done a whole lot to endear me to Marvel. The one silver lining is that they seem to be exploring at least a superficially Christian angle to things and it hasn't had the chance to shit on men or morality yet.
