He’s in federal lockup and federal prisoners can go anywhere in the country.
do they not want these inmates to get visitors or why is that?
Basically the feds don’t care. Inmates can ask to be moved closer to family but there’s no guarantee that they’ll be moved or they could be moved closer but it’s still hundreds of miles away.
