It's funny how often you see news sites doing this, any time it's something they know they're going to get backlash on the comments pages are always disabled. Which shows you that sometimes even on bubble sites like that people are noticing how full of shit journalists are. This is why I also make the point that there is zero point to gaming news sites in particular anymore.
So that's what happened. I've got my privacy settings on my browser set pretty high, so I thought it just started blocking the extension that loaded the comments.
Comments sections lead to dissent against the propaganda. This is almost always the reason for the decision.

This is why the backlash against gab’s brilliant “dissenter” app and addon was immense.
I'm told the comments should return, it's just been delayed with the new theme implementation.

They are still ending new articles with “what do you think?”, so there’s no way the comments won’t be back.

The new lay-out is dysfunctional. The top bar gets misplaced and stuck on the screen.
