tl;dr. Boycotts work. Social justice is brand poison, they are still reeling from Target and Budlight.
Now, the only question is if Social justice doesn't work in a free market why corpos keep pushing it? 🤔

People are way late to the party on that one. About 70 years too late.
Who owns your home if you have a mortgage? The guy who bought the Mortgage Backed Security your lumped into. That's where all your interest payments are going.
It's the same war. Culture is just one front.
Who owns the automobile fleet? Same people.
Always has been.
Car loans are the same as a home loan. Home loans prop-up the US Bond market. Car loans don't do that.
