“Please buy this book as a political statement, and not because you like it.”
Because no one likes it or wants it, and he knows that.
Show the chuds there's market for the comic by buying multiple copies to give away!
Didn't Tim Sheridan know that Alan Scott's ring is powerless against wood?
He is more fucked than Hal Jordan being played by Ryan Reynolds!
WTF? When did Bounding Into Comics remove it's comments section?
Also, noticed a story there about Aaron Lopresti's Kit Carter book getting shadowbanned on IndieGoGo. Maybe they think he's an (((Aaron)))? I can't think of a more normie-level Comicsgater than him.
And as for this bullshit GL comic... I love how the guy doesn't care about making a fan favorite, future classic, but instead opts to browbeat a bunch of people who never buy comic books into boosting his sales and his agenda.
dunno but i hate the site redesign
If the comments aren't chiefly Left-leaning and entirely milquetoast you can lose advertising for keeping them enabled under a policy enacted some short time ago that basically made it where comments containing "hate speech" would be in violation of advertising policies. It's why a bunch of sites now have it where you either have to login to view comments, pay to view comments, or heavily moderate comments to the point where nothing of substance can be said.
Green lantern wasn't gay enough for him?
It annoyed me he wanted to ruin a great Golden Age character. My Green Lanterns will always be Jordan and Strewart but I always respected what came before
DC's really taking it in the shorts on sales on this one.
Comic readers don't want to see characters BF each other - who knew?
Anal Scott?
The conversation that happened:
Tim Sheridan: Hey what if I took The Green Lantern and made him a faggot?
DC Comics: Holy fuck, that sounds awesome and deep! Here's a dump truck full of cash!
It would appear that there are several other Green Lantern titles but I see that the problems with this particular title are pretty big, rofl.
