I would not be surprised if the SJWs were having their struggle sessions with Nintendo managers.

I would almost be willing to bet that's exactly what "Nintendo itself heavily involved in the production" means.

I'm sure the Japanese suits have to deal with wrangling their IPs away from going too woke at the behest of the NOA division.
