All archivists are working over time to save every episode so another Machinima doesn't happen...
Yep it's dead without him as he's been carrying it for years, he can probably be fine doing whatever and his audience will follow, which is 98% of the Escapist's subscribers..
Time to get on my high horse: people shouldn't be able to sell their IP any more than they can sell themselves into slavery. It's not okay to scam people just because they signed a contract allowing it.
Any contracts that allow a company to profit from an IP without compensating the creator should be considered void immediately.
In any case, remember to never give up ownership of ANYTHING you create. Always create a limited non-transferable license to use it. If a publisher refuses to sign such a contract, walk.
I'd wager a significant amount of his audience doesn't even know the show is called "Zero Punctuation". Unless they own his voice and uh.. stick figure animation? I think he'll be fine wherever he lands.

RIP to the sole reason anyone ever visits the escapist to begin with
Oh no, now he can't talk quickly about video games!
Wait, yes he can. There's no reason he can't just immediately restart his work.
Do you think we can convince The Escapist to hire Frosk to take over Zero Punctuation?
