Daily Wire seems salty for some reason

Because it most likely wouldn't be his fault. Losing money for getting canceled incentivizes you to play it safe and disincentivizes truthful coverage. DW knows the score when they're hiring a conservative podcaster, so they should be willing to eat the risk.
This was a dumb move by Crowder to burn the bridge without even making a counteroffer.
Notice that we criticize the DW, and a handshake shows up for no other reason than to defend it. That account talking to you is 2 years old but has no history outside of this thread. That's not suspicious at all!
They're everywhere
Not only that but if he got canceled on a few places (big tech coordinates) the contract fines would be so big DW would be paying him "negative" salary all while he still has the cost to produce the show.
AND Daily Wire could cause him to be canceled at any time to making him run promotional content that would get his show canceled.
(((Melvar52))) knows this or should know this.
When somebody makes you an abusive offer it's not a mistake to not make a counter offer. Don't put your dick in crazy, don't work for DW.
The YouTube video on the manifesto already got pulled. If he had signed that would have been a penalty for telling the truth
That's absurd, I didn't know that.
If I remember right it was like 20% penalty per site regardless of audience size or revenue.
So getting kicked off Apple and DW losing like 1% of revenue was the same penalty as for YouTube.
An absolute shit deal and it's not like they got a template from contracts-r-us.com, DW made it that way on purpose.
If a friend made a contract like that for you wouldn't you just question them about it and show them what you're talking about instead of instantly reacting and burning bridges? What ever happened to giving people the benefit of a doubt? Hell someone could have meant to not have a 0 or a decimal point somewhere. Communication is key for everything.
Why the fuck would you make a counter offer to a slave contract? The idea of presenting that offer in the first place is denigrating
The thing is DW already has content on YouTube that they themselves censor because it still gets them money and can get part of their message out. They then plug their content that is behind the paywall that is uncensored. Michael Knowles littlerally bleeps every time he says trans when they put their content on YouTube. DW got this idea from Crowder that wouldn't say stuff that would get him kicked off YouTube but then he would say at the end of every show if you want to hear our uncensored content come to mug club and YouTube you can piss off.
They are doing the exact same thing, but somehow DW is the bad guy?
So you're trying to say that Crowder is a hypocrite because he self-censors? That seems to be relevant but it's actually not: the point is you should not penalize a creator for getting canceled. That implies the cancellation could be legitimate when the whole sum of our experience proves they never are.
If you don't like the risk then just offer them less money from the get go. Dangle a higher salary over people's heads and I promise they will try even harder to avoid getting canceled. Guess what happens to their content?
If crowder got canceled and he lost 30% of his audience DW would be making less money. Why would Crowder also then not make less money? It has nothing to do with the veracity of the claims by YT which we all know they are partisan hacks. DW employs many people so they can't make dumb business decisions and put the livelihood of their employees and their families at risk. If DW wrote up a contract that would say if Crowder makes us no money we will still pay him 60 million dollars, they would be idiots.
If Crowder didn't like that part of the term sheet he could have just negotiated, but he didn't. He decided to record his friend and burn all his bridges with DW and try to pit conservatives against each other for his own benefit.
Crowder makes far more in a year than what the daily wire was offering for 4 and he does it with less ad runs by far. They weren't going to lose shit
Because Daily Wire can absorb the hit and should stand by their talent. Also, the long term impact of cancellation is often much less painful than the short term.
Oh please lol. As I said, just offer him less money commensurate with the calculated risk.
There's no telling how much booster money has poured into the DW either.
