He can't be gay, he has to hook up with Gwen. Otherwise the writers can't get their mixed race couple box checked. They'll make a side character gay to check that box.
I've seen some lunatics calling for Gwen to be trans. So they might.

It's all just so tiring. The very first game was fun, I refuse to even acknowledge any of the other games because I don't like black spiderman. Cannot make an own character gotta push for the brown people to be some stand in and take over. And the mixed race stuff is just par for the course so will happen.
Yup, they already made Black Cat gay, and they've also introduced apparently another spider person named Cindy? So that's a possible shoe-in for another gay protag. You'll play as the black kid and the gay kid in Spider-Man 3 and a bunch of Sony simps will praise it for being "stunning" and "brave".
Miles is meant to be half black and half latino. Strangely that never gets focused on by these writers who ironically only ever care about skin colour.
