Did we officially move from "it's not happening" to "it's good that it is happening"?
We were in a no man's land for a while, with people arguing both positions simultaneously. Apparently, the update process for the opinions of NPCs are not transactional, and there is a period of time when they hold both opinions simultaneously.
I wouldn't be surprised. Trying to cross anything with an army is difficult, and it was sort of like Sam taking a step further than he had every gone before.
I believe it's so insignificant that the exact location isn't even known.
Its real significance was that it was the border between Gallia Cisalpina and Italy, which meant that a magistrate was not allowed to take his army past it under Sullan laws.

Some NPCs remain on the Long Term Support branch while others get the Current release. Sadly both branches are bloated and full of fatal code errors.
It's a long forge across the Rubicon.
Someone posted on here last week that the actual Rubicon is an 8 ft wide creek.

The width isn't the only thing. If it's 8 ft deep, yeah, you're gonna have to work to cross it.
Very true.

But it's safe and reversible!
And one day, for absolutely no reason at all...
Why can't we all compromise? Single masectomies, that way they can still come back or go all the way once they're able to make an informed decision.
