It doesn't help that there are so many shitty grifters and frauds on the right. Remember Italy's government is "far right." The fake right is part of the root cause, and it's a W for leftoids to see them as grifting frauds even though these lefties still have a host of problems with their own politics.
somewhat in their defense, the EU basically said to them "do as we say or we sink your economy". It takes balls to answer "do it". Meloni didnt have any. Apparently she expected the EU to respect the democratic choice of her people lol.
Looking at the massive failure that is the UK, it sounds like forming an anti-Great Replacement coalition within the EU will be necessary. That way the sovereigntists can keep their economies strong by doing business with one another.
Nothing will change until real political outsiders make way.
