For most countries, this is a terrible idea. You need a few very smart men to design and prototype your military equipment and other things you need to run a war, while the "dumber" guys go off to the meatgrinder. Unfortunately, Ukraine is just being given second hand equipment so can afford to send off the brains that would normally help rebuild the nation to die in a meaningless brother war.
Then your country's draft policy needs to account for that and put those few very smart men in the right positions. I'm against the draft period but if it must exist, nobody should be allowed to go fuck off at university while the jarheads do the dirty work.
