"If you’re at high risk of serious illness or death from COVID-19, it’s time to dust off those N95 masks and place them snugly over your nose and mouth to protect yourself from a recent uptick of the virus," CNN wrote.
HANG ON A FUCKING MINUTE, has the Science, which was Settled, suddenly Changed? I thought my mask protected you and your mask protected me! What is this heresy?! I need prebunking in here, stat!
There were some half-asses, lukewarm admissions sometime in the last year where they sort of, kind of, admitted that most masks did absolute jack shit, save for N95 (because N95 has electrostatic charge that "might" do something, in spite of how tiny the Covid virus is).
But of course, that's purely at the hypothetical level, since these fuckers don't ever follow through with actually proving a damn thing with anything even resembling solid evidence. And that electrostatic charge is generally not reliable at all upon repeated use of a mask.
Also apparently only high risk people need to protect themselves this time. Not
every single person, including people with near zero risk like teenagers and children.

There isn't a mask on the planet that can filter exhalant for airborne virii. The best you could do is wear SCBA gear and protect yourself.
I always wondered how smooth brained the people are who thought masks would only work* in one direction.
*for a definition of 'work'. They don't do shit unless you're wearing fit tested n95s put on only in sterile enviroments, etc
Even then, the N in N95 stands for "not resistant to oil." What is the outside shell of the Covid virus made of? Oil.
You'd need a P100 respirator to really stand a chance of doing something.
Might as well put a plastic bag over your head. Then none of that scary, dirty air can enter your pristine lungs.
Ironically P100s were frequently banned during the scamdemic because even though they actually worked, they have 1-way valves for exhaust.
But several Hollywood types have assured me that knitted fashion items provide sufficient protection!
Are you telling me that Hollywood would lie to me, good sir?

"The facts evolved"
That one sent me through the fucking roof when I heard it.
