The idea of an EV race is retarded. Not only are the batteries fucking heavy, putting extra stress and heat on them drastically reduce their lifespans in the best-case scenario, chemical fires in the worst.
I agree. Hybrid racing makes more sense. Cuz you don't have to have this huge battery for regenerative braking.
I'm not sure anyone is really interested in electric. The cars (' batteries) will probably get better . I think leagues and sponsors are positioning themselves to profit at that point.
