I have a hard time taking executives seriously nowadays, it seems like everyone is either born into it or sleeps and metoos their way to the top.
Yeah, the only thing you have to do is stfu and make a decent product. If you want browny points then champion generic stuff that everyone likes. Some alcohol addiction charity. No drunk driving. No drinking during pregnancy.
Stills baffles me how much of the universal truths of running a business people used to have back in the day have been thrown out.
Sex sells.....out the windows.
No politics....in the garbage
Hire based on skills/merit......shot from a cannon
Respect your customers.......LOL
and on and on.
Executives are generally insulated from the consequences of their actions.
