Even then, fucking France, Spain, and Portugal are way worse off.
Europe's... in some fuckin' shit.
The US is, strangely, the place in the West that is both pushing it the hardest, while also resisting it the most.
The US's greatest advantage is also a disadvantage: it's Liberal framework makes it decentralized. But that means that you will lose ground in some places, gain ground in others, and turn some places into bastions. Utah and Oklahoma are bastions. California is almost entirely lost. Florida is a major gain. Washington and Oregon are actually battlefields (Rural Oregon is as rightist as Oklahoma).
For our immigrants, it becomes a kind of similar problem. Yeah, some places, the immigrants are going to support WEF puppetry. But some immigrant communities want nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, some of those are already colonies in their own right.
We're ... just always kind of a mess. Luckily, the mess gives us spaces to fight in.
Yeah, we always look like we're on the verge of being a failed state, but that's our secret, Captain. We're always like this.
The thing that kills me is that the WASPs are some of our greatest enemies. For everything being talked about the destruction of western civilization, it's the New England Upper-Class Anglos of Martha's Vineyard who want this progressive madness institutionalized so long as they don't get exposed to it. It's the worst case of NIMBYism. "Your kids should get raped so long as I feel good about myself when I go to the spa and chat up the girls" JFC.
Regarding this comparison, I would only add the fact that England can fit into the borders of Alabama with some space left over. The US sits on a comparatively huge land mass and holds more than 4 times the English population.
There's that too, yes. Airstrip 1 is a bit dense.
