Its hard to learn a lesson when the moment things get tough you can just turn on a few tears and turn to daddy (actual, husband or government) to fix it for you.

It's not even a particularly useful lesson to learn anyway. What are they going to do once they learn that lesson? Vote for the other party with the same immigration policies?
