This doesn't add up. When the fuck do they ever kill actual "trespassing migrants"? There was a whole media controversy with Biden attacking them for chasing a guy on a horse. Now we're to believe they just made a mistake and applied force they never use against the wrong guy?
My guess is he walked outside with a gun, the Border Patrol people freaked the fuck out & started screaming at him. He - being fully within his rights to be armed on his property - probably stood his ground, & the idiot BP opened fire.
If that's the case, they should go to prison for murder. BP also needs to be trained to respect 2A rights.
Maybe it didn't even get as far as that, I bet he was already outside and questioned who was approaching and got merked as soon as they saw the gun, without so much as a warning.
Like when they hammered on the wrong door in the middle of the night for a domestic abuse report, didn't identify themselves clearly, and the guy dared to open the door armed.
Certainly believable. My brother got deployed to the border when he was in the Army, and his unit almost got into a gunfight with BP because they though him and his unit were all Cartel (while he thought they were Cartel). It was only after everyone stopped shouting and pointing guns at each other that the situation deescalated....and my brothers unit was not exactly pleased.
when Border patrol agents arrived to the scene Mattia exited his home and was shot dead shortly after.
My guess is he grabbed a gun for self protection, and was holding it in his hand when he went out to meet the cops. There are multiple examples of this leading to a shooting.
NEVER open your door while holding a gun. If you feel you need the gun, then you shouldn't be opening the door. If you are meeting the cops you called, holster it.
If you feel you need the gun, then you shouldn't be opening the door.
This is the one thing that really confuses me. How do they expect rushing out to meet the threat to end? Even if they were a bunch of would be burglars, you're still giving them an advantage when you run out to meet them.

And that's why you don't call the feds. Just use mobile weapon platforms and proper corpse disposal.
This country is such a shithole these days.
The US border patrol agents shot him 38 times.
