And we should have kept it that way. It's emblematic of modern faux democracies to mask their true intentions in newspeak rather than be straightforward. If we find the powers of war to be distasteful we should avoid using them.

America hasn't defended its homeland since WW2, and even that was Hawaii which a lot of people (prolly Imperial Japanese lol) don't think should be America.
