That is entirely fair, and I did not know that stuff…
I’m just sick of their family name never going away…
His cousin (Caroline) is the ambassador to Australia, now.
Maybe he’s more reasonable than her. Idk.
I just find it entirely bizarre that this same family continues to influence US politics so openly, like 100 years after Joe Kennedy started it (arguably even beyond that)…
Yep, and the Bush family also has a much longer chain of national influence going back decades before the father-son President pair. We nearly had the makings of a Clinton dynasty had Hillary won in 2016. Some Trump supporters were hoping to draft Jr. and/or Ivanka into running for President in the future. You’d think the American people had some weird fetish for family dynasties, but of course it’s really more like, powerful families stay powerful and most families can’t even begin to get access to the levers of power, and the political party machinery which their social class controls is always down with handing opportunities to themselves.

That and also you can't trust politicians so if someone gets in there you like, you at least hope their offspring will promote the same values. It's a "known quantity" vs. the unknown.
I generally agree with your sentiment towards political dynasties.
I don't think children of past politicians should be coronated over their famous last name.
I still personally like RFK Jr. a lot because he was one of the biggest warriors for medical/vaccine freedom in the U.S during the COVID tyranny.
If the 2024 election was between RFK Jr and whoever the GOP nominee is, I could rest assured.
Too bad that is not going to happen and Biden will be the Dem nominee.

Most of RFK Jr's cousins and siblings are radical Democrats and they suck horribly.
RFK Jr. is essentially the black sheep of the existing Kennedy family members.
Many of his relatives absolutely hate RFK Jr. and think he is an anti-vaxxer for caring about vaccine safety.
I like him more already (partly as I am that, in my own family, lol)…
At least his face isn’t entirely comprised of wrinkles/looks like sand, like Caroline…
That was my second thought, upon seeing her (after “What, another Kennedy?”) - that her face looks like, well, a jockey I guess…
Not sure whether she has some skin condition, or is just very skinny perhaps, but it is weird, lol…
RFK Jr is the only Democrat I would ever consider voting for.
I also empathize with him because I am somewhat the black sheep with regards to the members of my extended family.
Almost all of my cousins, aunts and uncles are normie Democrats who bought into the vaccine hysteria and got even the boosters.
