I have always equated cash with freedom, so I cannot say I am that interested in their scrip cards filled with "insert-business-name-here" bucks, so where does this fall in the "own nothing and be happy" timeline? Before or after eating bugs? It has to be in there somewhere.
That’s funny. Cash is nothing more than a receipt from the bank.

Isn't the banking structure the same worldwide? Otherwise, it shouldn't be possible for one country's currency to be "blacklisted" like the Russian ruble.

I'm reminded of Batman Beyond's vision of the future, how everything was "Credits" but people were still stealing and accumulating the cards like they were cash.
