I've been banging this drum for years at this point. The left has an absolute stranglehold on crafting/controlling the narrative for a full two-thirds of the country. Media, government, entertainment, the internet, schools... they run nearly everything that is responsible for giving people their values/views. They can saturate everyone with whatever they want, and make anything they don't want to be seen become virtually invisible.
Even if the right finally got serious about it, and tried (I don't even know how you would go about succeeding at this point) doing something about it, it would take raising multiple generations of new Americans (i.e. decades) before it would start to have an effect.
The situation is extremely dire. The left has been at this since at least the late 50's. They are entrenched everywhere, and they don't shy away from exercising whatever power they have to push their politics onto everyone.
This is true. Look at how the Twitter Files is being ignored and how Taibbi was mocked and humiliated in front of the Dem committee.
Nobody even gives a shit about the Biden laptop scandal and the brazen, real-time censorship of the NY Post, and everyone just wants to forget all the coof lies and the attempts to silence dissent around those two years of deliberately caused death and the smog of lies surrounding it.
It's depressing.
Now with the perfection of AI nobody will know who actually said what when, and normies will be BEGGING the USG to police information for them.
Yuri Bezmenov was banging this drum back in the early 80s, and he made that exact same point back then. "Even if you started TODAY, it would take a full generation to begin to undo the ideological subversion."
The only viable option I can see at this point is the Benedict Option. Hunker down, try to stay out of the regime's crosshairs and let their empire burn. Because it will burn. Leftist ideology is incompatible with natural law, and natural law always wins in the end. The time to act will be when the system is broken down and dysfunctional, and when the people are so immiserated that support is everywhere. It will be when they lose control of the rural areas. Many successful revolutions have started in the countryside and isolated/cut off the cities.
