Twitter should raise the price of blue checkmarks in Germany to pay for the fine.

Twitter has no servers or physical presence in Germany. They can tell the Nazi government to go fuck themselves and not pay a cent and there isn't anything they can do except attempt to block twitter.

Europe has famously completely failed to produce any meaningful social media companies.
It requires free speech. And Germany incorporated the STASI into the government instead of prosecuting them.
They will fine twitter according to the "Network Enforcement Act" (NetzDG) for not complying hard enough. Of course, they did not provide examples.
That means up to 50 million euros per violation.
They fined telegram 5,1 million euros for the same reason back in October.
What happened with the Telegram fine?
The last news about that was in last October, it isn't known if they paid it. (but telegram is in Dubai, not Germany)
Who is from Germany with an account worth crying over? Maybe some ball players?
Really wouldn't be a blow to elon to block Germany as a whole.
