I would not be surprised if he's convicted and his appeals run through the election he'd be disqualified from.
The only way to disqualify Trump from the election is if we find his real birth certificate from another country and he had non-citizen parents, or science figures out how to de-age him to under 35 years old.
Yes. He could be impeached and removed right away by Congress though.
It could be a constitutional crisis with John Roberts refusing to swear him in, but constitutionally you only have to be 35 and a citizen and live in the country for 14 years.

This is why they were desperate to call Jan 6 an insurrection and tie Trump to it even though it wasn't an insurrection and encouraging people to "peacefully and patriotically" protest isn't engaging in rebellion.
