Why wouldn't he? It's not like he's a Ukrainian himself, those aren't his people dying.
always the same two fellow Ukrainians downvoting
Ethnically Jewish leader sending millions of goyim to their deaths versus other goyim.
Why do we let this happen to us?
This is wonderful. He's opting for the extermination of the ethnic Ukrainian man. How progressive of him.
you should have negotiated when the russians finally called your bluff.
I wonder when he'll get found out and try to flee to the EU with Sean Penn's Oscar up his ass.
From the start it's obviously not about the people at all- it's about him and protecting whatever horde of trafficked children are being held underground for globalists
Why would he care if they die for it. Another unaccountable unmonitored billion please
Looks like a Halo 1 cutscene.
Master Cuck.
Weird to take a screenshot of an article which isn't a source article and only repeats shit taken from a different article as its source. https://archive.is/5ZKPV which itself is just excerpts from an interview: https://youtu.be/f7pGAeTn8PI?t=18
I was unable to find the full interview, or to find any excerpt giving context to his "tired" statement.
It is unfortunate that Zelensky actually believes that Bakhmut must be held as it is not true, but this could always be a psyop, since Ukraine wants to tie down as many Russian forces in and around Bakhmut as possible, and statements like this could cause Russia to step up its efforts there, which have been flagging lately.
Honestly, the more I have looked into it, the more and more it is looking like a redo of Verdun, with both the good and bad of that connotation. It has become a national symbol of defiance that the national government refuses to surrender, and has managed to hold against all odds despite being surrounded on multiple sides. But that holding has resulted in losses that were more severe then they should have been, and the truth is they only held because the attacker too even heavier losses and ran out of steam before they could deliver the coup de grace.
Bakhmut is only worth holding so long as UKR gets a good K:D ratio there to bleed out and weaken the Russians to soften them for a later offensive.
Unfortunately because both sides have already committed to it for so long, UKR put itself in the position where retreating to more defensible lines further back would be seen as a significant defeat similar to Lysychansk, but the Russians would harp on it far more since it's the only crumb they've gotten since Lysychansk 9 months ago.
I agree that it appears that Russia ran out of juice before it could finish the job.
I was about to engage with the original post, then I saw this and realized there's no source posted. Thanks for making the effort, even though it shouldn't be a commenter's responsibility to do OP's job for them.
