For context, the narrator is Randy Hillier, a Canadian provincial politician from Ontario who used to be part of Doug Ford's ruling Conservative party.
He was kicked out of the party for being too based, then sat as an independent in the provincial legislature, where the entire legislature voted to ban him from the building while he was an elected sitting Member of Parliament because he spoke out against COVID BS.
He decided not to run again in the last provincial election in June 2022.
He was also one of the only sitting politicians to speak at and support the trucker convoy protest.
He was later arrested by Trudeau for "assaulting a police officer" because he moved a police barricade without even an officer in the frame.
So basically, the last good politician in Canadian politics?
Him and Maxime Bernier.
Although Maxime Bernier hasn't held a seat in many years now.
Danielle Smith, the new interim Premier of Alberta, has some hope, but also bends the knee too much.
She's been essentially completely quiet about pastors getting thrown in jail protesting drag queen story hour and the commie mayor of Calgary passing bylaws that ideologically ban protests by Christians, threatening jail time.
Shit man, I was watching this feeling all comfy for a rural way of life watching an old man live a good life on a farm, similar to Clarkson. Now I'm a bit depressed realising this man is a modern Cincinnatus and we will never again see his like again in politics...
