In the Dune series, there is an all-male sect called the Tleilaxu. All of their females (or whatever is left of their bodies) are entombed in tanks that they use for birthing clones.
Holy shit, there are a ton of Dune references here.
I love the line "fear is the mind-killer," and I know what Spice does, but that's all I know.
what's weird is it's mostly a late dune reference. The term comes up early but they don't explain it much. And I didn't think anyone else read those.
