How in the world do they not see how subjective this is? Couldn’t a woman report a creepy (aka unattractive) guy for making her feel uncomfortable by flirting with her?
Yes. And there are other proposed laws that are due to deal with such behaviour going through Parliament now, such as the Online Safety Bill, Protection From Sex-Based Harassment in Public Bill and the Worker Protection Bill.
The one thing the Barrister pointed out in the video is that the Public Order Bill to deal with thought crime does not require someone to commit the behaviour more than once like the legal definition of harassment requires. Indeed the forthcoming bills will in some cases only require someone to do something just once to fall foul of the law.
In Scotland, covered by Count Dankula in a video last night, such behaviour could attract a prison sentence for up to seven years if the SNP do introduce a new misogyny law.
The ones making and enforcing these laws aren't stupid, they're evil. Wording it vaguely enough is the goal. That way they can make sure it's only used as a weapon against enemies of the party.
Only if the guy doesn't report her first for making him feel uncomfortable by not responding positively to his advances
