Got it recommended by a normie, so I am suspicious. Especially since it is Nickelodeon, but it is also from 2005-2008, so maybe it is not woke. Still can be shit though, which is why I am asking.

I refuse to accept cultural vandalism just because it was signed by the creators. And you shouldn't either.
Canonically, Toph's hygiene is hikikomori levels of bad. That could just be because she's 12 years old during Avatar, but her nasty-ass feet are integral to both her personality and her abilities as a bender, so it's not a stretch to assume that the dirty weirdo would grow up to be a dirty weirdo. I love Toph, but a hermit is exactly the kind of future I envision for someone like her.
I'm just talking about Korra in general.
Not gonna argue there. But of all the complete bullshit in that series, Toph's life is probably the one thing they got right.
Oh, and the fact that Korra's the avatar and we've gotta deal with it. Been dealing with that for ten years now.
Ehhhh.... Been watching E;R's review of Season 3, and I can't say I agree. Not that she wouldn't have ended up a swamp hermit eventually. But the path her life took to get there doesn't really ring true to her character in ATLA
But we're talking about non-canon "fan"fiction anyway. So in the end, it doesn't really matter one way or the other. ;D
