When, and why exactly did this trend start to have skirts and pants end above the bellybutton? I mean, I guess it's because a lot of women like it because they can pretend they have a flat belly when they have anything but so they can wear cropped shirts but i think it looks repulsive.
Also: Sure, Sara has hit the wall hard, but that picture makes her look inhuman. And; why the fuck would you take that shot between a window and an elevator? This looks like an office building or a hospital.

obesity. it's like the trend of wearing a bikini with the side straps WAAAY over the girl's hips. with the right angle, it makes them look less fat. example. and literally the pic next to it on google image search, of a girl who is actually skinny.
same thing with tops of this style. i only ever see fat chicks wear them. it allows them to show some skin, while still covering up as much of their obesity as possible.
Yah, I was lowkey aware of this. I always thought it looked hideous and the only explanation that I could come up with was that the person wearing it, was fat.
Sadly it's a trend now, so even girls I'd consider healthy wear these abominations. HAES strikes again, making everyone uglier.
because it's so badly photoshopped. look at her neck, our left side, her right. the editor was making her neck skinnier and longer, clearly didn't retouch her neck correctly, and it looks like she has a giant fucking lump growing out of the side.
and whatever they did with resizing her to make her look skinnier, it's like they didn't include her hand, so it makes her hand look unnaturally fat.

yeah, this pic is from a vox article complaining about low rise jeans coming back in style as if it was communist genocide.
those girls are smoke shows, other than the stupid muzzles they're wearing.
you're right though... my gf is a size zero, and even she's not ready to wear low rise, because they're not yet completely "in style".
Its common in countries where females are typically fat. The US, UK and India for example.
