too many non Whites in 1890's Scotland(which should have no non Whites at all). In the character creation you can make male looking characters and call it a witch, or female looking characters and call it a wizard. (you also can't really create a White character) , Also the tranny and gay NPCs. Also even more ridiculous considering again its 1890's Scotland.
You could reasonably have people who aren't from the Isles attending the best magic academy in the world in a setting where it's possible to teleport around the world instantly for free. That's not why they did it, but the setting could support it.
I believe there is at least one character who's basically a special transfer, but that doesn't excuse the rest of them. Or is the rest of the world utterly devoid of the talent required to build more schools? I think them all flooding the UK says more about the rest of that wizard world than anything else.
In the game there's a student from Uganda who explains that at the African magic school, they don't have wands and the school itself is just dug out of a mountain because they don't really build buildings either. The troons who freaked out over transphobia have, so far, completely missed this.

This is where me not giving a crap about the source material comes in. I can see it, and I wouldn't mind it if the witch school looks like the UN.
But when they do that to LotR, it pisses me off.

There is already a mod to choose different skin colors of the player character.
Still missing one to patch the demographic bug ( any place hosting such hypothetical future mod will be attacked ).

Ohhh I have noticed this trend of not really being able to create white characters, but I didn't realize it was a thing.
I like to make characters that look like me, and I am very fair skinned. But instead of offering you a slider they want to make you choose from a skin palette. Which only has one "white" option that's a medium brown.
Reading the comments it looks like I can't play a pale creature glowing from the moon and thin as a raven's feather?
I love Californian designers who don't understand the concept of there not being a sun most of the time. The tanning salon won't let them know what they look like as Smeagol or a guy from Seattle.

There are no skin tone options that get closer than "white-passing mulatto", no.
Apparently some devs REALLY underestimate just what kind of skin tone range exists. Just being in the "white" range could still be really damn dark compared to Nordic skin tones.
People always say "paper bag test", but white vs non-white is really more of a tone thing. White people are not all the same color, but I am for instance actually yellow and red. Such pigment as I have is yellow, but maybe that's just a really diffuse brown IDK. If I had a tan, I would retain that hue but my darkness would increase (lightness decrease). White is hue, basically, not lightness.
