The Church of England formed so that Henry VIII could divorce his first wife. It's always been Catholicism with the serial numbers barely filed off.
It's been over since at least 1960. It is a walking corpse that doesn't know it's dead yet.
Anglicans are only half a step behind Lutherans in who can fag up the church faster.
Doesn't necessarily apply in Lutheran-majority countries, but Anglicanism/mainline Protestantism in general is way, way faggier than Lutheranism in Aus/NZ...
