Yeah shots and designs lifted straight up from wow cinematics. And what’s really sad if they are putting that much work into it why not just make something unique. They have a captive audience
I mentioned this in the other post in the gaming channel, but the "ripple" effect from this was that they cut out 90% of the prize money from their card game's esports scene and effectively made it so that if you don't get to worlds you make nothing. Not only that, but the "Q&A" they did alongside it was filled with so many non-answers that it has since become a meme in their community.
People harp on about how esports will replace actual sports and all of that nonsense. China just showed how easy it is to kill the scene by removing it from a single country.
All the CCP cock they sucked for all those years and where did it get them?
Kicked the fuck out the second China had a viable videogame industry of its own.
I'm sure they made a decent amount of money before being booted.
And Tencent releases a blatant wow clone
Hopefully it'll be less woke than current WoW
It will probably be equally as terrible. Instead of Western woke it will just be pushing whatever chairman Winnie the Pooh wants.
I’ll take communist propaganda over pronouns, honestly.
Personally I like a solid 3 on the bristol chart myself. /s
Like, they're both shit?
Hey, personally I'd take the one that doesn't splatter.
It will be, in China. Not for the Baizuo
I know it's China but damn I didn't expect it to be THAT blatant.

They'll have entirely different but equally retarded issues.
Oof, there’s goes activision stock
They demolished the statue to show how much power they had. The demolition was on a live camera. That's regime change stuff.
To be fair, if I were asked to maintain an MMO for six months while it's owner shopped around and was interviewing my replacements...
I would be angry enough to do the same thing.
I am not saying that the Chinese Devs were in the right, but Activision is scummy enough that they're the lesser of two evils here.
I'm not disagreeing with you.
never should have entered communist china
Welp
There goes the last remaining hope of Overwatch 2 succeeding
