Imagine if they had put the same preparation into the sequels as they did Mandalorian. Aka not being obsessed with subversion and trying to make something the fans would enjoy.
I’ll stick with pre Disney Star Wars. Currently reading legacy of the force book called Betrayal. To be fair before I cancelled Disney plus and swore off Disney stars Mandalorian was one of the few new canon things I liked.
As for Carl Weathers….. as a kid my dad rented Rocky 4 and I remember being sad because I thought he really died. Also liked him in Predator, Action Jackson, and Happy Gilmore. Of course I love Rocky and one of the coolest scenes is at the end of Rocky 3 when they are about to spar and Eye of the Tiger starts.
If it wasn't for the Gina situation, I would watch from a friendlier port simply for Carl. As it is, he is caught by the wokestar, and this is probably his career for now. Wish him luck
True. I guess Gina was the last straw for me with Disney Star Wars. The first straw being erasing the EU when they could’ve just kept writing stories in a separate continuity. Granted, after seeing the type of writers they hire it’s probably for the best. But I was annoyed with Kathleen saying there was no source material.
Oh, that definitely ended my interest in anything Disney had to create. Then they brought in JarJar Abrams, and I knew it was going to be flashing shit.
Yea. I’m thinking he doesn’t understand the terminology. I refuse to watch Disney Star Wars but this show was one of the few I liked before quitting. Apollo will always be a legend.
This might be how they continue the sw timeline without the first order bullshit from the sequel fanfic. This might be a sign that the execs know just how unpopular the sequels were.
