When there's live porn involved, there's almost always human trafficking. Especially with "independent" content.
Based on what? Do you really think all the famous porn stars are victims?
Many claim to be, despite later behaviour where they might even go back to making more.
Lana Rhodes, Jessie Rogers, Raven Leigh, Dolly Leigh, Stoya, Joanna Angel, Yhivi, Bobbi Starr, and various others have all at one point whined about the porn industry to different effects and results.
Lana Rhodes was one of the most popular pornstars of her time but now speaks out about how she was forced into it and had no agency at any point. Despite there also being stories where she flaked on contracts then fled the country in the middle of the night.
Jessie Rogers similarly complained the porn industry was horrible and essentially threw everyone she worked with under the bus. She resumed making porn last year or something. Anyone sane would leave her on her isolated island surrounded by burned bridges.
Raven Leigh complained of racial abuse at the hands of a guy she was making porn with on the set, only for everything she said to turn out to be a lie because of the footage from the 'nanny cam' which records everything that happens specifically to deal with situations like this where anything that happens in non released content or off camera is recorded just in case. I think she's now an "independent content producer" because everyone saw how toxic she was and wanted nothing to do with her or her wife. With perhaps the exceptions of the next set of names.
Dolly Leigh. One of several pornstars who has complained about James Deen. Stoya and Joanna Angel are also part of this group and their significance will be brought up shortly. Dolly jumped on the 'cancel culture' bandwagon and made various claims about Deen on social media which would later contradict future behavior by Dolly.
Stoya made similar claims about Deen. The weak he was moving in with his new girlfriend having broken up with Stoya previously.
Joanna Angel is another of his exes from before Stoya, both of them played the frail waif card and lamented how they didn't see any of this coming or that they had played some part in enabling the various behaviours social media was murmuring about.
Yhivi claims to have originally left porn, she's back making it again ofc, after a scene with Deen where he punched her in the stomach. AFAIK this scene is out there so people can watch it to check these claims. From what I've read it was an intended rough scene however punching was something specific that Yhivi requested not happen. I don't know if there is bts/nanny cam footage of this agreement as without it it is little more than a he said/she said situation.
Deen remains not arrested or charged for any of these accusations but many still think otherwise because of "How they feel about him". The frequency alone can raise questions in many and if nothing else he's possibly lucky he doesn't live in other parts of the world where multiple similar accusations like this are considered legitimate enough to be taken as collaborating evidence to ensure a charge like the Moorov Doctrine in Scotland. I'm sure you'll love learning about that.
Bobbi Starr was one of the most popular pornstars of the 2000s along with some others like Dana DeArmand and the two would frequently work together. Bobbi is now an activist for feminist rallies despite only having any degree of presence because of her porn work, similar to Mia Khalifa who people only know because of porn. AFAIK Dana still makes porn while Bobbi is the stereotypical post porn mother who claims her previous activities were not her choice and that she had no agency at times, etc.
None of this is really anything new it's just examples of the same poor arguments set in a particular business and I gave you those detailed examples in part because simply providing the names wouldn't explain anything.
Lana Rhodes is a complete piece of shit who ran a massive NFT scam though. She's not exactly a credible or even good person.
Honestly, she's known more for that than her "career". The rest, as you've pointed out, are hypocrites and liars looking for more money.
I think I broke the bot.
The famous named porn stars, likely not. The faceless nobodies that you'll scroll past on places like PornHub, I guarantee at least 10% of them are not there of their free will.
Again, based on what information?
