Her "career" is getting naked and doing awful things on camera for anonymous people.

She didn't reject the request despite surely knowing how it would affect her.

As per the first line, this happened some time ago and she's still doing it.

I think we can safely conclude she's too stupid to even put two and two together, much less improvise a lie.
