Leftists are so obsessed with "historical and important firsts" that when something isn't a first, it becomes mundane and boring. They don't care what someone does or even if they do it well, they just care that they're first.

I genuinely don't know what they're going to do once they run out of the "first black transbian to co-run an IHOP" bullshit they do. Eventually there will be no firsts left, no matter how artificial.
