I get caught up in the end of millennial so I understand it. One thing that happened shortly after I graduated college was the 2008 recession. Basically, if I had been 2 years younger my life could have taken a different trajectory. I could've been forced to give up college because my parents (and I) couldn't pay for it. I could have graduated, but I may never have been able to "get a job" for years, which was something that I needed.
I watched this happen to a significant number of people. Millenials lived through as many years of recession, at as bad a time in their development, as any generation since the 70s.
