That state can also declare them not to be jews.
You might not like it, but how fucking triggered do you think they are gonna be if Israel says: "Pbbt. You didn't convert properly, and you don't practice our religion. You're not a jew; you're white!"
They could, but since just about every high profile Jewish American are confirmed dual citizens to include Bernie Sanders it’s insanely unlikely.
That assumes that Orthodox jews in Israel give a shit what American jews think. American jews that aren't religious, keep supporting Palestine, and have this whole "open boarders" idea.
If there's anything that Israel has proven in it's existence: it's that it doesn't give a shit what anyone else thinks. From the quote I wrote you, I'd bet it's not an impossibility considering how the more numerous American jews keep trying to fund political opposition in Israel to keep that from happening.
