Even if that had been a bad shoot their actions completely de-legitimize their movement

It should have, but unfortunately, it took until a BLM terrorist attack on the Dallas PD killed 5, and the dude had to be blown up by a fucking bomb robot with explosives attached to it... at a BLM rally joined & supported by the Dallas PD.
