The numbers of burning and the numbers of deaths. I have no idea how many people have died from the church burning, but it appears to be vanishingly small. Kristallnach, on the other hand, killed more than 90, and involved the total burning of 267 synagogues, and the attacking of 4,000 businesses. In the 64 Canadian Church attacks, not all of the Churches were raised, some were just smashed and vandalized.

It's an order of magnitude difference in scale, but the disinterest of the attacks by the government in this terror campaign is extremely alarming.

Especially when you consider that honking in Ottawa was justification for an Emergency Declaration and the cessation of most political rights.
