It's not being abandoned wholesale, not yet. But the cracks are growing. As with the abandonment of Covid hysteria, this is another Leftist tactic that is loosing momentum and creating blowback. At a certain point, they have to be thrown to the wolves so that their masters can survive.
Thing is, just how vicious are these particularly leftists prepared to be? We know they'd kill us and our children without a second thought. Will they turn around and burn down the cathedral that they are being pushed out of? I lean towards no, but I can't say it with certainty. Many older, wiser, Leftists wouldn't; but these modern ones have a viscous streak a hundred miles long.
The answer is probably "very."
If for no other reason than the fact that they are so dumb they dont know the meaning of "quit while you are ahead."
Remember, the Fabian Society a year ago tried to pass along to their acolytes, through friendly media, that the Culture War was supposed to be over, because the Right was actually starting to fight back and was making things hell for them. And how did their acolytes respond? Overwhelmingly, by ignoring them, doubling down, and making it backfire even more on them.
And I have seen plenty of Leftist looking at their tools being taken away and taking that personally to start airing dirty laundry of their overlords and try to whip up the mob against them.
In effect, they have created their own monster that drives forth on its own without having to be told, as long as it can find a target to eat. And that may well be their undoing in the end.
I remember that. It's one of the most clever DARVO lines of bullshit I've ever seen. Anyone supporting populism, opposition to CRT, and opposition to Public School Drag events is "divisive", "promoting a culture war", and "Critical Race Theory doesn't exist".
It's as evil as, "Get vaccinated to end the lockdowns which are caused by Covid, not the government."

Anyways, I get that point, but God almighty, I don't know. Every time one Leftist faction defeats another, the defeated faction basically succumbs to the authority of the winner in order to gain power. The Mensheviks gave in to the Bolsheviks, the German Communists succumbed to the German Socialists, the German Socialists succumbed to German National Socialists, and (from my perspective) the American White Communists succumbed to the Black National Socialists whenever it was necessary.
My god, they were espousing the need to target ethnic Russians earlier this year. They've reversed their position on the lockdowns now too.
I feel like there's a point where the the smart Leftists will surrender and abandon the ideology in an attempt to secure power elsewhere (which is what I think Tulsi is actually setting up for), and the few remaining while fight to the death like The Battle of Itter Castle. I just don't know which one will be the primary end. Both will happen, but I don't know which one will happen most.
