Disney managed to take a 40+ year old thriving successful franchise that seemed to print money, and promptly took the stick and nosedived it into the ground.
That's what happens when you let activists run your projects instead of dedicated professionals.
I don't care how good andor is/might be. I am not interested in Star Wars anymore. Mandalorian S1 was good, but that's the last Star Wars programing I'll ever watch.
Yea a real shame the damage Disney has done to the brand. Andor could have been a great showcase for Star Wars on Television. But it’s forgotten after the fumbles of Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan. I can only guess that Andor somehow was allowed to fly under the Radar without executive meddling because it wasn’t a “headliner” named series.
Andor is mediocre. It could be any generic SciFi setting and it would be as "good". However, being mediocre is a star of distinction nowadays in the sea of garbage that is woke Disney and Hollywood in general.
I used to like star wars. Haven't watched any of the television series. Clone Wars was the last thing I watched over two years ago now. Just let it die.
Maybe it goods maybe its great maybe it doesn't matter because star wars is dead
Even if it is absolutely amazing Disney won't be able to resist stuffing it full of "REMEMBER???" the instant it gains popularity. Disney has the patience of a flood
Star Wars is a zombie franchise. There is no cure. I don't pay such Disneys.
It's amazing how quick Disney managed to kill the reputation of Star Wars, spin doctors wish they had this talent!

Honestly, S1 wasn't even that great. The whole clan showing up to help him in episode 3 was basically unmotivated and kinda dumb.
I enjoyed it, but with all the BS surrounding Disney Star Wars I just have no interest anymore.
Andor is not bad so far, but fuck Disney I'm pirating it

Ugh I couldn't even finish 2 episodes of obi wan. I wasn't going to watch Andor at all until my parents said it was much better than they expected
I would rather watch it as a generic SF rather then being in the Star Wars universe

Re-watching Stargate SG-1 instead
