Colchicine isn’t used for myocarditis as far as I’m aware, the guy probably has a comorbidity which the myocarditis has now severely complicated.

Buried in that article, it says that Colchicine is also used to prevent atrial fibrillation, which can be a complication of heart failure.

A meta-review from 2022 shows that the overall risk for myopericarditis after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine is low.[6] In addition, the incidence of myopericarditis is significantly higher with a smallpox vaccination in comparison with a COVID-19 vaccination.
