Zyuganov is an entirely controlled opposition, and really not an opposition because there is no such thing in Russia to be allowed in the parliament and any sort of government on any level in this make-believe but not quite fairyland country where everything is lies and misery.
Hungary only ever suffered 1945 (when caught between Stalin and Hitler) and 1956.
I remember you calling the whole lot a clown show. But then again, you do hate Russia a lot. If he is controlled opposition, how come he almost beat the fat drunk bastard in 1996?

Russia sounds a lot like the US and Europe.

But for the whole time, it was run by a puppet regime - unless you believe Goulash communism was less bad. Same as Poland, except that Poland didn't have a 1956. Or was the Jaruzelsky (sp?) crackdown worse than 1956?
Poland had a partisan war for a few years starting 1944 (the last shots in 1953) in which tens of thousands died.
1956 there was also an armed uprising in Poland, and first, and also crushed by tanks, but that's just one of the later incidents. Like how the tanks fired randomly on people in 1970 after they were ambushed just going to the work in the morning. These were formally Polish tanks. Tell me about "puppet regime".
How could removing "white officers and counter-revolutionaries" be any wrong?
Making Poland "an independent state" and gifting all these factories was just among the additional bonus from Stalin to the brotherly nation.
Counter-revolutionaries like Vladimir Putin? Somehow I doubt that he's going to say; yes, Mr. President, you definitely should be slaughtered.
Hungary suffered the same, if not worse. So why do Poles hate Russia so much more than Hungarians?
